| The Following rules should be observed and implemented in this Forum:
Always read the first post before replying to a thread for the first time
SMS/text style of posting is prohibited.
-SMS/text style of posting is prohibited, unless you are using a mobile phone for posting
No Topic Diversion
-avoid posting off-topic comments on a certain thread so as to avoid diverting from the real topic. Follow-up posts are allowed as long as it can link to the topic in any way. This rule may be disregarded in the Basket Forum.
DO NOT REVEAL AN IDENTITY
-if a member chooses not to reveal his/her identity, we MUST respect him/her. This is for security purposes. Discussing about a secret identity in a thread is also prohibited.
Accusing People is also prohibited.
-DON'T MENTION NAMES (even student's or teacher's name) during or in a sensitive discussion (badmouthing, or accusing with or without evidence of that person's misconduct). Use Asterisk ( * ) to sensor letters for the name. e.g. M*r**t*
No Spamming.
- spam posts consist of useless sentences or posts with too few words. e.g.("yea,lol" "fdkqewfmifjmf" etc.)
No Flaming
- Flaming another user is prohibited no matter who started the flame wars.
No Heavy Cursing
- Light cursing is allowed provided you sensor some of the letters. e.g.(S**t)
No Double Posting
- Use the [EDIT] button to modify your posts instead of posting continuously. failure to do so will result in a warning.
No website advertising
- especially those "make money" links and game links. Don't start threads with false titles to lure others into clicking your link for your own benefit, even if it is for a game you are playing. failure to comply would be dealt with strictly.
*note* links to sites are allowed as long as it is for the sake of information, or under a request.
MORE DETAILED RULES
• Post everything in the right section. If you are unsure which section to post it in, send a PM to the Staff/Mod
• Use search option before making any new thread to make sure its not been already made.
• No point arguing with Admin/MOD
• No advertising here about other warez sites. Please also refrain from posting advertisements about any kind of products even if it’s free.
Before posting links:
• Try to give some description about the apps, movie or game. It helps the users to know what they are downloading.
Moderator Privileges
-THREAD LOCKING-
A thread can be locked or closed for more feedbacks upon request by the thread author; when he is satisfied with the answers in his thread.
-THREAD MOVING-
A topic can be moved if it falls in the wrong forum category.
-THREAD SPLITTING-
Thread splitting is applied on a thread wherein another topic creates another chain of discussion while totally diverting from the original topic.
A thread would be divided from where the diverted discussion started and would then become a new thread wherein the first poster would be the author.
Splitting is also applied when merging to topics.
-POST EDITING-
Any post can be edited if contents somehow violated any of the rules. The reason would be properly indicated once editing is done.
-POST DELETING-
A post is primarily deleted because of extreme vulgarity, flame posts or threads, spamming or any forbidden threads and topics.
Threads can also be moved to the Basket if not permanently deleted.
Specific action taken would be noted appropriately to avoid confusion.
MODS are entrusted members personally appointed by ADMIN to moderate the forums ; hence, have the right to use the mentioned privileges.
Please do respect them and don't take their job personally. If you feel something unfair/wrong/abusive with their course of action, don't take it in forums and try to PM the MOD to make it less public as possible. If you're still not settled, send the admin a personal complaint.
If you have a problem with a Staff member or Mod, do not make it public, this will result in a warning if not a ban. If you have a problem with them take it to PM, PM them and explain the situation, and if that does not resolve your problem, PM admin or jlynrd13 or pipe.
Sigs/Avatars
• No nudity/nude pics or anything same in nature allowed in sigs or avatars.
• Don't use anyone else's avatar or sig or you may be asked to remove it
• Lines: The maximum number of lines is 15 using text size=1. The maxium is 8 lines or less using a bigger font and text size, and with a graphic.
• Images: No more than 2 images...they must be kept small, oversized images would be asked to be removed.
